What this page is. A statement of where the site stands on accessibility, what was measured, and what was not. It is written to be checkable rather than reassuring.

What was measured

Automated checks with axe-core, run against the live pages on 20 October 2026:

11 pages checked, 11 completely clean
0 findings at serious or critical

The pages in that run: the home page, pricing, the tools index, about, log in, sign up, contact, the privacy notice, the blog, the status page, and one drill page (The Flip).

Automated checks catch a real subset of problems: missing names on buttons and fields, contrast that fails a threshold, headings out of order, landmarks that are missing. They do not catch a confusing tab order, a sentence a screen reader reads badly, or a control that is technically labelled and still unclear.

The phone pass

A second run drives a real browser at 390 by 844, with the system setting for reduced motion turned on, and checks four things on every drill rather than the one page the first run covered:

33 pages checked, 33 clean
0 sideways scroll, 0 controls under 24px, 0 animations ignoring reduced motion

The four checks: whether the page scrolls sideways, which element is responsible if it does, whether any control is smaller than 24 by 24 pixels (the WCAG 2.2 minimum), and whether anything still animates when the reader has asked for less motion. The run covers the home page, pricing, the tools index, log in, sign up, the refunds page and all 27 drills.

It found real things and they were fixed in the same sitting: breadcrumb links were 18 pixels tall, the two switches in the timer had a 22 pixel label as their only target, the sliders sat in a 26 pixel strip, and the word count in the generator was a 5 pixel digit. All four are now at least 44 pixels.

What was not measured

  • The screens behind signing in. The account page, the scores page, the console and every drill that needs a session are outside that automated run. They have not been measured.
  • Manual testing with a screen reader. No screen reader pass has been done. That is the largest honest gap on this page, and it is not something an automated tool can stand in for.
  • Zoom and other phone widths. One phone width, 390 by 844, is measured below. The page at 200 percent zoom and the widths in between a phone and a laptop are not.

What the site does do

  • Keyboard first. Every control is reachable by Tab, and focus draws a visible 2px outline rather than being removed.
  • Reduced motion. Animations and the rotating status messages respect the operating system setting for reduced motion, in eight places across the styles and components.
  • Text, not pictures of text. Drills, scores and legal pages are real text, so they resize and can be read aloud.
  • Errors next to the field that caused them, announced with a live region, rather than in a toast that disappears.

If something does not work for you

Email hello@therapquest.com and describe the page and what happened. You get a reply from a person, not a form. If a feature is unusable with the tools you use, say so plainly and it gets fixed or you get your money back under the fourteen day promise on withdrawals and refunds.

What happens next

The gaps above are the order of work: the signed-in screens first, because that is where the product actually is, then a manual pass with a screen reader, then the phone widths. This page is updated when that changes, and the date at the top of each measurement is the date it was taken, not the date the page was last edited.
